In 2021, the construction market in Qatar grew by 1.7% after declining by 3.8% in 2020. In analyst forecasts, the industry is expected to grow by 2.3% in 2022 and by an average of 3.6% in the period from 2023 to 2026. This growth is expected due to the functioning of the QNV 2030 program.
The Qatari government has ratified a new law regulating public-private partnerships (PPPs) that is expected to attract more foreign direct investment to the country.
