Southeast Asia is located at one of the world's most important trade routes crossroads and occupies a significant place in the global trading system. All the States of this region belong to the developing countries that unite in the Association of Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN).
The ASEAN countries collectively are the seventh largest economy in the world, and according to experts, by 2050 ASEAN will reach the fourth place in terms of economy. The region is ahead of the rest of the world in terms of development rates. The basis of economic development is the growth of the number of workers and productivity. By the value of the number of able-bodied population, the ASEAN countries occupy the third place in the world after China and India. It should be noted the increase in the efficiency of their economy and macroeconomic stability.
Agriculture plays an important role in the economy of the southeastern region. Agriculture is more developed than animal husbandry.

The Republic of the Philippines is an agrarian—industrial state in Southeast Asia, located on more than 7 thousand islands belonging to the Pacific Malay archipelago. The most developed industries are the textile, chemical, woodworking, food and pharmaceuticals.

Support for agriculture:
The Government of the Republic of the Philippines and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) have a Country Programming Framework (CPF, Country Programming Framework) for 2018-2024. The program is based on the priorities and development directions proclaimed in the Philippine Development Plan for 2017-2022, and focuses on accelerating the development of human capital, in particular, improving nutrition; expanding economic opportunities in agriculture, fisheries and forestry; ensuring ecological integrity, clean and healthy environment; reducing the vulnerability of individuals and families; achieving a just and lasting peace.

- register on the website https://etravel.gov.ph/ 24 hours before departure and get a QR code that you have to present upon arrival;
- take an express test for the coronavirus antigen no later than 24 hours before departure from the first boarding point, if there is no vaccination certificate;
- if there is a certificate of vaccination from COVID-19 confirming that the passenger has been fully vaccinated at least 15 days before departure from the first boarding point, then you do not need to submit a coronavirus antigen test.
