There is no direct air communication with Algeria, you can fly with one transfer. The cost of a round-trip ticket starts from 59,000 rubles.
Russian citizens need a visa to visit Algeria.
To obtain a visa, the following documents must be submitted to the consular department of the Embassy of Algeria:
- a passport valid for at least 6 months at the time of submission of documents;
- 2 questionnaires filled out in French or English and signed personally by the applicant;
- original or fax of an invitation or voucher from a travel agency officially registered in Algeria;
- a copy of all pages of the passport;
- medical insurance.
In addition, 2 identical 3 x 4 cm photos must be attached to the above documents.
Visas are not issued to persons who have any marks (visas, entry stamps) of the State of Israel in their passports.
Visa-free transit through the territory of Algeria is not allowed. To obtain a transit visa, the same documents are required as for obtaining an ordinary short-term visa, as well as original tickets to the destination country. The validity period of a transit visa is limited to 72 hours.
